Assembly
Having decided the fitting style, assemble your weathervane onto the selected shaft and sliding down onto the joining socket the NSEW cardinal arm and then add the W E arm at right angles ensuring that the cardinal points are at the correct position. The two arms should be at right angles which can then be locked into position by fitting the cross head fitting at this stage it is not necessary to tighten the locking screw.
Taking the 2 part universal mounting bracket, position the back plate and mark the position for the holes for the fixing screws. Taking both parts of the bracket secure the assembly firmly to the mounting. Slide the assembled selected shaft into the bracket assembly and tighten the 2 locating screws ensuring that the complete assembly is upright using a spirit level where possible. If the assembly is not upright the feature head will not operate correctly.
Point the N cardinal arm assembly to the direction of North and then tighten the cross head device to stop the cardinal arms turning on the shaft.
Slide the feature head onto the top of the vertical stem there is a captive ball bearing fitted into the top of the head to aid sensitivity to the wind direction. A small amount of grease applied to the stem will keep the head moving to the direction of the wind.
Your weathervane will benefit from a coat of external paint during its life and it is just perfect to personalise. Please note due to continuous improvement, specifications may vary slightly to those depicted. Also different designs have different attributes.

Delivery
Please allow 1 to 4 working days for this traditional weathervane to be delivered. It includes tracked, signed for delivery to UK mainland destinations
We use our preferred courier DPD Local for the majority of deliveries. DPD Local offer an email and text service to keep you up to date on your delivery progress
Where do you offer delivery to?
We offer delivery options on checkout, we can currently only ship to locations on the UK mainland such as England & Wales, Scotland (may incur extra on checkout), Scottish Highlands (may incur extra on checkout) and Scottish Islands (may incur extra on checkout)
What if you don't offer delivery to my location?
We regret that we can currently only ship to the locations listed on the checkout and sadly can't offer delivery options elsewhere because of the variations in pricing and customs rules. Locations affected tend to be Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Islands, all EU and other International countries beyond the UK mainland. If you have the option to arrange onwards delivery if the weathervane can be delivered to an area we ship to that could be one potential solution. Please note that if an order is placed to an area we do not offer shipping to on checkout and a refund is required we will only to recover the amount minus the card processing fee from our provider which is 3% per transaction so we urge customers to contact us prior if the location isn't listed on the checkout
